This page is devoted to some of my favourite Fairy Movies.
Legend
Legend is a beautiful film. It stars a young Tom Cruise as Jack. A young forest boy battling to save his beloved Lila, and indeed the world from darkness.
The Fairy in the picture above inspired my mouse drawn adoptable fairies.
Legend (Original Soundtrack Recording)

Fairy Tale - A True Story
Based on a true story of two young girls who claimed to have taken pictures of real fairies.

A Midsummer Nights Dream
I finally saw this film and its fantastic. It is so beautifully made and once you get past the language its awesome.
I studied 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' at school and I loved it then too. It is also nice to see two english actors in leading roles.
Anna Friel started out in a really bad English soap in which she played a lesbian who died whilst in prison for
killing her father and burying him under the patio. She has come a long way since, lol!!
Original Soundtrack. William Shakespeare's A Midsummer...

The Wizard of OZ
The classic Fairytale film. With the good fairy versus the bad witch. Plenty to please the imagination and so cute too.
Judy Garland stars as Dorothy in this film that will always be one of the first movies I ever remember watching.

The Fairy King of Ar
This is a beautiful film too. The story line kind of sucks, but the effects are magnificent.

Labyrinth
Probably the first fantasy film I ever saw. I remember loving it when I was little. David Bowie has given me the creeps ever since. Interesting fact. The baby in the film labrynth was played by the son of
the very famous fairy artists Brian and Wendy Froud who both worked on modelling the fabulous creatures that appeared in the movie.

Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone
A very good adaption of the bestselling book by J.K Rowling. Great special effects and good casting too. The only way it was let down was by the fact that I knew the ending but I guess thats my fault for reading the book first. I would recommend the book to everyone but if you don't have time go and see the movie.

Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring
The long awaited Lord of the Rings Trilogy has finally been completed and the first part released. A truly wonderful movie. Not suitable for young children but amazing special effects, scenery and acting too. Beyond words just make sure you see it.
