You can’t really talk
about Faerie Art without mentioning Brian Froud. When I was at sixth form I did my final A Level study about his
work. Here are a couple of my favorites. Find out more about Brian and his wife Wendy Froud by clicking on worldoffroud.com. Brian and Wendy have worked on many great films including Labyrinth and The Dark
Crystal. Wendy Frouds most famous creation is the character of Yoda who appeared in the Star Wars series of films.
Thier son Toby played the part of the baby in Labyrinth and is following in his parents footsteps and has spent a summer working in Jim Hensons Creature work shop.
Here is another
one of my favorite faerie paintings. It is by John Atkinson Grimhaw. I think it
is beautiful. I saw it displayed at the Victorian Fairies exhibition at the London Royal
Academy in 1998. This is not a very good copy of it but it is
unfortunately all that I could find.

If you are looking at Faerie Art Online Amy Brown is a must.

Jonathon Earl Bowser is an amazing artist who does beautiful arts using the theme of Mythical Naturalism.
He has many amazing works mainly based on goddesses. There are also some
lovely fairy works too, including this one entitled "The Beckoning". I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful site. My first version of my fairies site used his graphics throughout. This was until I learnt to make my own. I do however still use some webset that were made using his designs. You
can see them here and here.
